I have this website and this blog. I joined Google AdSense two years ago to place advertisements on my website to earn a little cash. It was an arduous experience entering the ads, so I only placed two on the opening page of my website. I did not place any more ads because my website was in its infancy and I was not sure that I needed them. I set a goal of 2000 visitors before I would add more ads. I added a blog to my website, and I reached that goal a couple of months ago. Yeah!!
I also had inadvertently lost the existing ads on the opening page. It was time to do this. I started the task of getting on AdSense’s special link to add the advertisements. I told myself that I would only add one advertisement every few days to avoid all the stress I experienced the first time. So I began signing into the site.
And guess what, I did not remember that password from two years ago. There was a link to reset the password so I clicked on it. I have done this over 10 times and I have not received the reset email, yet. I got frustrated yesterday and decided I would cancel the account and when they asked why, I would tell them my password story. So I started the process to cancel my account, in hope that they would not want to lose me. Guess what? To cancel the account, you have to sign in with your password. UGH!
I clicked on a link that I found and complained again. I have sent many complaints over the last couple of weeks and never have heard anything. Maybe one day they will cancel me since they are not earning any money. My account will be dead and they will not understand why. (their fault)
I have decided that I will find other alternatives to the big giant Google. They have gotten so big they have lost their ability to give any customer service. There is some company out there that will want to advertise on my blog or my computer page. I just know it. And with this blog I say good-bye to Google AdSense. You really missed out on something that is becoming quite nice by not having good customer service.
