The past week I have been in a black hole, i.e. not able to communicate on my computer, phone, etc. I spent the day Friday at the Cox office trying my best to get it all straightened out. I had to wait until
Friday when my SS check came in to bail myself out.
To make a long story short I have all three services now, even though I only wanted two. It was just as cheap to get the three for a yearly deal. I sent myself a message to pop up a year from now to change it before the "special" goes. off,
But to add misery to it all, my dear little laptop, that I have had only a year, decided to die. It is not the battery, because it comes on but there is nothing on the screen. I will be visiting a place that repairs such things this week to see if it is cheaper to fix than replace. If not I have found one I might be able to get next month after all the charges of this month are over.
Luckily, my apartment has a computer room with working computers that will allow me to use my email and the Web. Most of the people who use it there play games and check email, so that is enough for them. But those of you who have known me a while, know that that is not enough for me.
I am glad that I still can "vent" my issues here and I thank all the new visitors for coming to visit.
