So what is going on? I am going to blame the aging process. Typing is harder than it used to be. What with arthritis, my damaged right shoulder and arm, and my aging brain, it has become quite difficult. For a while I did have a problem with my keyboard not typing the letters that I typed. I fixed this with a little of my computer know how. I found a “cookie” that was tracking every keystroke I made. It was slowing the typing down tremendously. I got rid of it and at least that problem stopped.
Now even when I proof my work, I find that I miss errors. These are errors that Spellcheck and Grammar Check do not catch. (They are not perfect, by any means. They make errors, too.) My eyesight is OK, so it has to be my aging brain. I wrote on Facebook that my brain and my hands were out of sync. I have noticed a slowing in the thinking process. I HATE this.
I have always prided myself on my ability to think clearly and concisely. This aging thing is not OK. I am making more errors. I promised my “friends” on Facebook that I would go more slowly and reread constantly to make sure that what I wanted to say was said properly. I am also making that promise to myself. I just cannot abide writing anything incorrectly. It causes me too much pain.
Therefore, if you find something here that is incorrect, please forgive my "old" brain. It knows better but seems to be forgetting some stuff.
