The Language of Flowers

Flower language is all but forgotten. Did you know that all flowers, when given, send a message? Long ago a bouquet of pansies surrounding a fragrant white rose, with a moss rosebud tucked into the arrangement would say: "You occupy my thoughts." ( the pansies) "I am worthy of you." (the white rose) And "I now confess my love." (the moss rosebud) Of course, in these times we just say what we want to say. No flowers needed.
However, if you want to add some diversity to your life with flowers, you will find a list below with their sentiments. It might be nice to consider the old meanings before you send flowers to someone. Oh, and be sure to tell them what the flowers mean. Enjoy!
